Cross-browser Compatible Websites
There are lots of browsers in existence. Some are old, some are new. We make sure that the sites that we develop work on 95% of desktop web-browsers of varying configuations. We also have an strong understanding of developing web sites for mobile devices.
In order to do this we have installed a wide range of browsers in different environments and are able to test the technologies that we use for consistency.
Why is it important?
Web browser usage statistics show that a broad range of browsers are being used, each of which can follow very different rules when it comes to rendering web pages. Developing a site that works in all of them is important.
You have a matter of seconds to prove to a visitor that your site is trustworthy and that it meets what they are looking for. If your website doesn't view correctly then you could lose the visitor and lose the business. You could also be wasting money on google advert purchases.
Standards compliance
We develop to the w3c html and css standards wherever possible in order to guarentee a high quality end product that is both accessible and compatible.
Often there can be tradeoffs between features and cross browser compatability. For example some transparent image formats do not view correctly in Internet Explorer 6. In these circumstances we are able to discuss the tradeoffs with you so that you are able to make an informed decision about what you value most.

We Ensure that our website view correctly in Internet explorer 6, 7, 8, Firefox, Chrome, Safari, Opera.
