Spreadsheet product importing and management
This significantly reduced ongoing website administration time by allowing existing product spreadsheets to be imported into the website at the click of a button. A bespoke revisions system has been put in place to allow admins to track each import, audit the generated pages, and publish.
The import process has been built with extension in mind and supports future integration with the company's ERP and CRM systems via a SOAP API. This will further automate the website updating process, allowing key staff to focus on more important tasks.
Highly configurable search capabilities
A flexible, easy-to-use product finder allows Binding Site customers to find the best solution for them based on 50 different filters and options. Because Immunologicals is a global service, prices and products on the site automatically update to reflect the territory of the visitor.
Product filters, stock, advanced information and related product information are all kept up to date dynamically via the spreadsheet upload process above. Since launching the new site, Binding Site's customers have been able to identify and inquire about relevant services much more quickly and easily than ever before.
Mobile responsive
The Immunologicals website reaches a larger, more diverse audience as a result of having a website that has been optimised for mobile and tablet devices. The site scales gracefully based on the device's screen resolution to deliver the best possible user experience regardless of platform.
Having a mobile responsive website has helped our client to increase their visibility in search engines, as Google updated its algorithms to prefer mobile-friendly websites within mobile search results.
Intelligent resource linking
Easy linking and updating of PDFs and resource materials across product lines. With hundreds of records maintained via spreadsheet, the resource management system allows documents to be assigned and managed across multiple imports and product lines.
PDF resources uploaded against products are also easily searchable within the resources area, allowing returning visitors to quickly find and download the product information most relevant to them.
