How We Connect Your Devices
Communicate with custom firmware
When we connect your devices to the IoT, the first step we take is creating custom firmware. This is a complex but necessary process to make sure your devices are communicating as they should. During the updates, we'll program new functions to make sure they're ready for connection. We'll also re-configure each device, personalising them to work with your needs and in your environment. If there are any bugs or issues, our team will be sure to fix those too, making sure your IoT devices are ready to work.
Connection via Bluetooth (for close range comms)
For close-range communications, we'll use Bluetooth as the primary connection. To use Bluetooth, we'll make sure you have a Bluetooth-enabled device — such as a phone — as your central device. This will have firmware that we've configured to send data over Bluetooth that you can receive via an app. Any Bluetooth enabled device that's in close range can then send or receive data.
Connection via Wifi (for devices on the network)
If you have a lot of devices in one space, WiFi is a great way to connect them. We'll set up a single network in your home or workspace and connect all of your devices to it. Over the network, they can transmit data and you can use apps to control your devices. It's an easy, reliable way to create a more connected space.
Connection via the internet (for devices that have a sim card)
One step further than WiFi, we can connect your devices to the internet using a SIM card. For long-distance connections, this is the ideal solution. We can place SIM cards in your devices and connect them to your phone or computer. You'll then be able to receive data and control your device from a distance, making sure you stay connected wherever you are.
Collect data
Without a doubt, one of the most useful benefits of IoT is data collection. From your business's point of view, you can use this to evolve. By tracking customer data using IoT devices, you can identify problems before they become issues and predict user needs. You can also use the data to change the way you problem solve, working faster and more effectively. For your customers, they can track their data on your app.
Live firmware updates
We can update your firmware remotely for live updates. If we spot any potential errors, we can fix them from afar before they make an impact. We can also keep your products and apps up to date with the latest technology and make sure they're functioning at their best. Central portal for tracking devices

Automatic events and push notifications
By connecting to the IoT, you can receive push notifications from across your devices. You'll be updated with useful information such as when a device is low on power or it's been left on for a long time. These notifications can help you keep track of all of your devices easily.
