Live Like Loyalty is a company that provides employee rewards for independent businesses to help boost local economies. Their system works by selling subscriptions to the businesses, allowing employees to access the offers from Live Like Loyalty. Businesses can either share the offers with their staff or use the app for advertising their own — or both!

The company approached us to build a mobile application that would be an upgrade of their current version. They wanted a fresh, new app that put user experience first and focused on accessibility.

A user-friendly mobile app
We built Live Like Loyalty, a mobile app that would allow users to easily access their business offers. Sleek, enhanced, and a definite upgrade on their old app, it should help to drive Live Like Loyalty's business forward and market them as an industry leader. Their aim to boost local economies is better achieved with an app focused on usability and accessibility.
Available on Android and iOS
We created the app to be available on both Android and iOS. Because Live Like Loyalty wanted to increase its customer base, this was the obvious choice. It allows more businesses to access the rewards offered and improves their reach.
GPS device location for focused offers
The offers that Live Like Loyalty have available are different depending on the businesses' location. We created a user log-in and GPS capabilities to make it easy for users to find those they can take advantage of. When users turn on GPS, their device location connects with the Offer Map to show them all of the rewards in their area.
Admins can tailor user rewards
We created user-friendly back-end functionality for admins. They can upload a CSV of users through the back end and tailor the rewards that users can see based on location and categories. This will improve the customer's user experience, helping them discover rewards of particular interest to them.
In-app offer redemption system
Users can redeem offers directly in the app, making it much easier to take advantage of Live Like Loyalty's rewards. There are different types of offers on the app, and when a user redeems one, a stamp is placed on the offer code with a timer for how long they have to use the code.
Clever log-in to reduce multiple users
We wanted to prevent the same account from being used across a range of devices by different people. The solution we created was log-in tokens. When a user logs in, it uses a token that expires every time they do so.
The technology stack
The technology services we used to build and run the app are Laravel for the back end and React Native for the front end.
