The best things about Concrete5 is that is is very easy to find your way around. Once logged in all editing tools can be found at the top of every page and options displayed are relevant to the page you are currently on.
Keeping up with the theme of simplicity: in edit mode changing text is as simple as double clicking on it. Though simple there are also full wysiwyg editing tools to give you a good handle on the structure and formatting of your content.
From date related content through to tagging Concrete5 contains all of the tools you would need to be able to create blogs on your site. It also lets you customise the meta information and URL structure on each post to optimise for search engines.
It is very easy to add and configure page widgets/modules from embedded google maps to search facilites. Though a lot of Concrete5 modules are paid-for components their quality is generally high and they are easy to install, even as a non technical user.
